MLFCCA is a member of the Umbrella Strategic Alliance (USA), which consists of the Minnesota Association of the Education of Young Children  (MnAEYC), the Minnesota Licensed Family Child Care Association (MLFCCA), the Alliance of Early Childhood Professionals (AECP) and the Minnesota School Age Care Alliance (MnSACA).  These four companies are all community organizations with complementary missions revolving around care and education of young and school-aged children, and ensuring that professional development opportunities exist for caregivers of these children.

There are conferences and there are MLFCCA CONFERENCES!  The best in educational opportunities, wonderful relaxing atmosphere, excitment and fun at every one!  Whether it is the Week of the Provider Conference, family fun at the Winter Break Conference, or one of the Spring Conferences; you are sure to have a great time learning, networking with others, and don't foirget shopping!

From time to time, we have openings in the MLFCCA office and/or food program.  Check here for any current openings.

The MLFCCA has some great programs that are recognized nationally and being copies in other states.  The successful Mentor Program and Essential Elements (the new provider training program) are geared to help those providers just starting out to be better prepared and help them be successful in this profession.  The Minnesota Provider Nutrition Network ( our CACFP) is the only foood program in Minnesota being run by providers for providers.
Essential Elements is a copywrited program for teaching all aspects of starting a family child care business to new providers.
The MLFCCA Mentor Program is to help join new and experienced providers together for the benefit of both and the profession as a whole.  This program is now being used in several other states and looked at by more.


Skyhill Software is the software provided to MPNN members for bookkeeping, claim submission, and more.  The company's website will answer many of your questions.
